Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Mechanical Assembler role in Woodburn, OR. Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools according to blueprints and work instructions. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and bills of materials. Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of parts to ensure proper functionality and quality standards. Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workstations for efficient workflow. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly or fitment issues. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Accurately document assembly processes, parts usage, and production data. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines. Report any material shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or prior assembly experience preferred. 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
