Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking reliable and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assemblers / Industrial Mechanics to support manufacturing operations in the Johnstown and Somerset, PA area. This role involves assembling, installing, and working on mechanical components, equipment, and systems in a production environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with tools, equipment, or machinery and is comfortable working in a physically active, industrial setting.
Shifts/hours per week:
1st shift, weekend shifts available, 40+ hours per week Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, parts, and equipment according to specifications or instructions Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies Install, fit, and align parts and components Perform basic mechanical work such as bolting, fastening, adjusting, and troubleshooting Read and follow blueprints, work orders, or assembly instructions (preferred) Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, or repairs as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines Qualifications Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure (required) Blueprint reading is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and good work ethic Ability to follow instructions and work safely

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
