Job Description Assembler, Machine Parts - Assemble components into kits or assemblies. 2. Set-up, and operate FTSI Flame-Hardening Equipment 3. Operations are generally related to standard products, with some variations as called for on drawings or bill of material. 4. Procedures involve use of hand or power tools to assure accurate fitting of parts to meet drawing tolerances and pass test require fitting. 5. Read direct measuring instruments. 6. Read drawings and follow verbal or written instructions with some help from others. 7. Required to operate machines, such as parts washer, machine press, rivet machine, name plate stamp, etc. 8. Products include, but are not limited to, line valves, sub-assemblies for all compressor lines as well as sub-contract requirements. 9. Detect unusual conditions or material defects and report to proper supervision. 10. Perform necessary material handling associated with the job. 11. Maintain necessary time, quality, quantity and other records. 12. Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards. 13. May be called upon to participate within special work teams performing various team related duties. Including Kaizen events, 5S programs and problem solving exercises. 14.
