This is a 1st shift position with the following hours: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Weekend overtime may be required)What You Will Do:
Assemble electronic parts and components precisely following engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. This involves proficiently using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve accurate and efficient assembly results. You apply job skills and company procedures to complete assignments, under direct supervision. Perform routine tasks with close attention to detail and precision during the assembly process. Your primary responsibility will be to align, secure, and accurately connect components to ensure their optimal functionality and adherence to quality standards. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to uphold a secure work environment. Your responsibilities include identifying and addressing potential safety hazards related to the assembly process to ensure a safe and protected workspace for all. Strive to meet production targets and deadlines as they are communicated to you, maintaining exceptional standards of quality and craftsmanship throughout your work. Primarily engage in seated work at a workstation, prioritizing cleanliness as essential. Your responsibility includes maintaining a tidy environment to boost efficiency and cultivate a focused, organized approach to all tasks at hand. Maintain equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functionality.What You Will Learn:
Learn the advanced techniques and adhere to the rigorous standards of J Standard soldering essential in electronics manufacturing. Develop the ability to interpret blueprints accurately. Gain insights into continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen and 5S, fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation within the workplace.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceQualifications We Prefer:
A foundational understanding of manufacturing processes and a willingness to learn and optimize production methods. Previous electronics experience. Basic proficiency in blueprint reading or a willingness to develop this skill under guidance Basic soldering experience or are enthusiastic about gaining hands-on skills in soldering techniquesRole Type:
