Job Description

Engine Power Source, a leading builder and distributor of Kubota diesel engines, is seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Package Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and installing all components of diesel engines built to power various types of equipment. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and an understanding of diesel engines and their components.
What You'd Do:
Assemble diesel engine packages according to engineering specifications and technical drawings. Install components such as fuel systems, wire harnesses, cooling packages and various components specific to each customer. Perform quality checks to ensure all assembled engines meet quality standards and performance requirements. Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, parts used, and testing results. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling engine components and operating assembly equipment. Work closely with engineers, parts, service teams and other team members to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
What We're Looking For:
3 + years of proven experience as an Engine Assembler, Equipment Assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or assembly environment Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engine components and systems. Ability to meticulously assemble and install components with precision. Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve assembly issues. Proficiency in documenting assembly processes and maintaining accurate records. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment. Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to lift heavy components and work in a physically demanding environment. Vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred, but not required This position requires you to work onsite at our Rock Hill, SC Headquarters location. The standard schedule is Monday - Thursday (4 days per week) 7AM - 6PM, including a 1-hour lunch break. Overtime opportunities on Friday's are occasionally offered and/or required. All new hires must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
