Job Description

Assembling the fabrication and assembly of parts, pieces, and products using an array of tools and equipment. Emphasis on quality, a dedication to performing work accurately, and a keen attention to detail are a must. Requirements Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and instructions. Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standards. Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly. Repair and adjust products to match changes to specifications and resolve assembly problems. Ensure that equipment is operational by handling preventative maintenance, performing regular quality checks, and calling for repairs when necessary. Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms. Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary product in your workstation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Work cohesively with the Engineering, purchasing, fabrication and Logistics Departments, to resolve schedule conflicts, part shortages and any other issues that may prevent in achieving the completion of shipping schedules. Supervises, trains, motivates, coaches, and prepares performance reviews of assigned personnel. Continuously monitors staff size, skills, efficiencies, performance, and job assignments. Communicates accordingly and in a timely manner in relation to workload and takes direct and timely action to adjust accordingly. Ability to multitask several projects at once and maintain accurate, up to date schedules, always. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Comply with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
Experience and Background:
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, and controls and instrumentation. Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams. Excellent grasp of math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements. Capacity to logically solve problems and manage projects by utilizing a data-driven, detail-oriented, approach. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in and/or lead a cross-functional team. Possess ability to drive for results, hold self-accountable, and continuously improve.
