Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and assembling products with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality output, streamline production processes, and maintain a safe working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing, machining, and materials handling within a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Operate machinery such as presses to produce components according to specifications. Set up and calibrate equipment using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate production runs. Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from standards, utilizing quality inspection techniques and tools. Assemble components accurately following detailed work instructions and drawings, ensuring proper fit and function. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments. Knowledge of fabrication processes including press brake operations and plastics fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a manufacturing setting while adhering to lean manufacturing practices. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
