Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing them according to specifications. This rolerequires meeting assigned production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related components per work instructions Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation to build products to specification Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and reports related to discrepancies or defects Perform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and minor repairs as needed Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handlers for replenishment Conduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate quality or production issues to supervisors Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a positive, safety-focused attitude Support production demands by adhering to scheduled hours, overtime requirements, and assigned break periods Perform additional duties as assigned
