$21.50/hour (weekly pay) — potential increase upon permanent hire Important Requirement To be considered for this role, candidates must be open to working both 1st shift (5:00 AM-3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM-1:00 AM) . Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety‑driven Machine Operator to run a computer‑controlled production system that processes multiple raw material ingredients in a mix‑room environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision. As a Machine Operator, you will ensure machines are set up correctly, running efficiently, and producing high‑quality output. You will also maintain accurate production records, perform routine maintenance, and support overall plant safety and housekeeping standards. Key Responsibilities As a Machine Operator, you will: Operate a computer‑controlled production system for raw‑material processing Solve daily operational issues with limited supervision Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in assigned areas Complete daily job checklists, equipment inspections, and calibrations Keep accurate records of raw materials, samples, and equipment operations Operate a forklift to transport materials as needed Perform safety audits and follow all safety protocols Set up machines at the start of each shift to ensure proper function Conduct testing procedures to verify optimal machine performance Clean and maintain machines before and after each shift Input machine settings such as speed, size, and shape parameters Load parts into semi‑automated machines Calibrate and recalibrate machines at shift start and end Monitor machines continuously to ensure optimal running conditions Troubleshoot issues during machine operation Perform preventative maintenance and random accuracy tests Conduct safety checks on all equipment Verify product quality through periodic output checks Ensure materials and supplies are stocked and ready Maintain activity logs and downtime sheets
