Mechanical Assembler Location:
Vancouver, WA Pay:
$21/hour Job Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly of complex structures and components for construction‑related projects. This role involves interpreting drawings and blueprints to build structures such as railings, cable systems, and framing assemblies in a manufacturing/shop environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret drawings and blueprints to assemble complex structures and sub‑assemblies Assemble construction‑related components including railings, cables, framing, and support structures Use tape measures, power tools, and hand tools to ensure accurate and high‑quality assembly Assist with general shop tasks and support fabrication needs as required Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area Required Skills Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints Proficiency with tape measures, hand tools, and power tools Strong attention to detail and ability to assemble accurately and efficiently Preferred Qualifications Experience with woodworking and tools such as drills and saws Willingness to assist in multiple areas and support shop operations as a helper Manufacturing or construction assembly experience is a plus Why Work Here? The facility serves as a manufacturing hub for a wide range of products—from park benches to playground equipment—distributed nationwide. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
