This is an hourly level, full-time position that will assist the Mechanical Assemblers with the machine builds. As a Mechanical Assistant, you will… Complete entry level assembly work and prepare parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics to be added to the build equipment utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques Produce boat hoist and lift components by assisting with subassemblies to produce one, large product. Assist with engines and compartments installation that includes pumps, tires, conduit and hydraulic lines. Train with mechanical assemblers to increase mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skills as it relates to machine builds and grow into an assembler position. Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts Use overhead and jib cranes as needed to move steel beams and columns All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned We are looking for you to… Have basic mechanical knowledge and/or be mechanically inclined Have attention to detail Be able to follow verbal and written work instructions in English Be able to learn to read blueprints Be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted 1st shift works Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-3:00PM; Friday, 6:00AM-12:00PM 2nd shift works Monday-Thursday; 2:30PM-1:00AM (3-day weekend); Enjoy 2nd shift differential pay!
