JOB DESCRIPTION
The Machine Assembler's responsibilities would include use of hand tools, fixtures and power tools to assemble, setup, trouble shoot and operate a variety of labeling machines and labeling stations. This position would teardown, clean, polish, reassemble, and test filling valves. Sub assemble various components, such as cold glue, hot melt and APS labeling stations. Assemble drive shafts, bearings, gear and gearbox assemblies. Plus additional duties as needed. Manual machine setup and operation of drill press, saws, and grinders required to process assemblies. Electrical experience is a plus. Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed. Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and stand/walk 95% of the day.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education required, technical school preferred. Requires a working knowledge of precision assembly techniques as well as basic mechanical principles. (Knowledge of electrical principles is not required, but a plus). Must have the ability to use measuring devices, hand and power tools, arbor press and drill press. Must have the ability to read assembly drawings, a working knowledge of metric system and basic computer skills required. Electrical experience is a plus.
