Machine Operator/Industrial Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Duties:

Perform various steps in the fabrication process.

• Set up and operate burn table, press brake, shears, and other tools to grind, cut, and bend metal components.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements. Check for accuracy and conformance using tape measure.
• Load and unload material form table using approved material handling techniques and equipment including overhead crane and fork truck.
• Maintains tools and equipment and performs basic maintenance such as checking coolant levels and gases and changing or adjusting them as needed. Complete electronic maintenance inspection log, where required. This is a second shift position working 4
• 10's, Monday
• Thursday.

Shift starts at 3PM. Role is eligible for a shift premium.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 year of experience operating machines in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mathematical competency and ability to understand written work instructions.
• Strong work ethic and attendance record. Must be self-motivated to stay on task.
• Ability to effectively communicate and partner with co-workers.

Work Environment:

Work will be performed in a shop environment. Team members will need to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and work in a variety of conditions throughout the day. Ability to work with small parts, hand tools, and interpret written and verbal instructions is required. Position requires ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.
