Full Job Description Purpose Statement:

The Framer is responsible for the assembly of fine art reproduction pieces. This position works in a team environment to accomplish the common goal of producing and assembly fine art pieces for distribution. The Framer is trained in multiple disciplines including cutting of prints, stretching of canvases, framing of multi-medias art works, lamination of artwork, and affixing artwork onto special mediums such as acrylic and metal. Framer must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work at a fast pace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to lift products that weigh up to 25 lbs. occasionally daily. Must be able to lift products that weigh up to 30 lbs. to a height of 70" occasionally on a daily basis. Must be able to read work orders. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job. Must be able to tolerate work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to tolerate work in a high level of noise environment. Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly processes. Work with a variety of hand tools (staple gun, glue machine, pliers, stretch bar, staple remover etc.) Follow specific QC procedures for quality and attention to detail. Performs other duties as assigned. Experience & Qualifications Required Ability to read and follow instructions. Bilingual English - Other (list other language) Ability to work independently and in a team. Problem solving skills. Ability to perform tasks that are repetitive. Excellent time management and prioritization skills Excellent interpersonal skills Basic proficiency with scanners, printers, and computers Preferred Bilingual English - Spanish Ability to speak and read English. NetSuite Experience Excellent communication skills Experience with shipping systems (FEDEX & UPS) Analytical Skills Problem solving skills. Critical thinking Organizational skills Must be able to work varied shifts. Must be able to work approved overtime. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Basic math skills (Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply and fraction calculations) Can perform basic mechanical applications. Education- High School Diploma Physical Requirements Must be able to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. regularly. Must manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance, Must wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a ladder) Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
