POSITION SUMMARY
: This position filters, prepares and processes the flow of orders through the digital printing areas while recording data and optimizing consumables usage. This position is responsible for efficiently producing orders in conformance to customer expectations, optimizing OTD and customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
Sets up digital printers according to established company guidelines, safety, and job requirements. Receives production order and job assignments from a supervisor. Validates work orders to be printed by verifying material, quantity, size, graphics, color and text, Organizes jobs and filters printing sequence to optimize workflow. Monitors and maintains optimum production rate, color density, print registration, and product quality within company and customer guidelines, and makes adjustments as required. Identifies any problems, performs troubleshooting and makes adjustments as necessary Uses rulers, calipers, and magnifiers to measure critical printing requirements. Produces color matched samples for customer approval. Completes daily records as required Ensures proper cleanliness of printer, work station, and immediate area. May be required to train others on printer operation. Perform other related duties as required. . EQUIPMENT/ COMPUTER SKILLS
Experience using computer and graphic software. Experience using a variety of tools (i.e., Calipers, digital etching or cutting machines, belt conveyors, etc.) EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Knowledge of machine and tools. Knowledge of production and processing. Must be able to read and understand English. Must have excellent math and measuring skills. Must be detail oriented, an active listener, organized and methodical. Must understand downstream finishing processes to ensure orders are processed optimally. Must have knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models. Must have visual color discrimination. Must be able to understand the importance of being exact or accurate. Must be Arm-Hand Steadiness, Manual Dexterity, and Finger Dexterity. WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
