These positions support the production, coating, and finishing of prescription eyeglasses for optical retailers and require a strong focus on quality, precision, and efficiency. Position Summary The Associate Technician plays a key role in the optical lab environment by operating specialized equipment and performing hands-on tasks to produce high-quality prescription lenses. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Schedule & Compensation

Pay Rate:

$16.00 per hour

Shift Schedule:

Monday:

3:00 PM

• 12:30 AM Tuesday

• Thursday:

  3:30 PM
• 1:00 AM

Friday:

3:30 PM

• 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities

Lens Processing:

Operate machinery to surface, polish, and edge lenses according to prescription specifications

Blocking & Taping:

Secure blocks to lenses using automated equipment and protective materials as required

Coating & Tinting:

Load and operate coating equipment and lens tints based on order requirements

Quality Inspection:

Perform optical and cosmetic inspections to ensure all products meet quality and accuracy standards

Frame Assembly:

Insert lenses into frames, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and overall finish

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain and clean production equipment to support optimal performance and safetypliance Qualifications

Experience:

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to ; prior experience in manufacturing, production, or optical environments is a plus

Skills:

Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions and interpret work orders, andmitment to quality standards

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, work with small and delicateponents, and lift up to 30 pounds

Pay Details:
