POSITION SUMMARY
: The Elastomer Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day support for process-related activities for the Elastomer room, including setting up, operating, or tending machines. Candidates will train during the day before being transferred to the night shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates extruders, mills, mold presses, and click presses. PSA application, hot and cold bonding. Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures, and amounts, dimensions, and flow of materials or ingredients. Monitor machine operators and observe lights and gauges to detect malfunctions. Assist with bonding, cutting, and other assigned tasks. Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: read blue prints, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows all safety regulations.

Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment. Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.
