Entry-Level Turner for a Manufacturing Company in Atlanta Our company is a leading manufacturing company based in Atlanta, seeking an Entry-Level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality metal products according to specifications. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with metalworking machinery preferred
- Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic understanding of math and measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
