Job Description
The Team Specialist will work as part of a team responsible for basic production in accordance with applicable SOPs, quality standards, CIVCO Values and safety programs. The associate will be expected to advance their training into other functional work areas and rotate throughout all or most the functional areas in order to increase their flexibility and impact on workload. Rotational training opportunities will be available, with the intended outcome being rotated as needed to maximize the production schedule and account for absenteeism. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.) 1. Assembling machined parts with the Laser welder 2.
Benching:
including deburring, buffing, cleaning, filing, etc. 3. Tumbling 4. Cutting materials and prepping for machining shop 5. Eventual training in the machine shop 6. Detail finish work including painting, buffing, gluing and cleaning 7. General benching/deburring 8. Bracket and Gen assembly 9. Laser engraver operation 10. Follow safe work habits and instructions 11. Perform quality control inspections for all products and equipment, document results, and communicate defects as necessary. 12. Follows SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) that govern all workload as well as those specific to each department and procedure. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education, Experience and Certifications One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred. Knowledge, skills and Abilities- Ability to read and understand written instructions.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others.
- Ability to demonstrate basic computer, math and computation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Regular attendance is required for the ability to complete all work.
- Requires face-to-face interaction with team members, peers and management to complete all work and provide support.
- Ability to work more than 40 hours per week (overtime) if needed based on business demand.
