  • Full-time We are seeking reliable and motivated Powder Coaters with previous experience to operate powder coating equipment and ensure high-quality production standards.
This hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Operate powder coating equipment and powder guns Follow procedures to ensure consistent coating quality Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area Support quality control and report any issues Core Coating Skills Proper Gun Technique
  • Maintains correct distance, angle, and movement for even coverage and film build. Consistent Film Thickness
  • Applies powder evenly to meet specified microns or mils without over
  • or under-coating. Surface Preparation
  • Verifies parts are clean, dry, and pre-treated (e.g., blasted or washed) for optimal coating results. Defect Recognition
  • Identifies and corrects issues like orange peel, fisheyes, pinholes, or poor coverage. Touch-Up Skills
  • Able to blend or recoat small areas without compromising finish quality.
Qualifications Previous powder coating experience required High school diploma or GED Ability to multitask and follow directions Willingness to learn and work as part of a team Physical Requirements Lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly Stand, walk, and bend for the entire shift Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs Interview Process All interviews will be skill-based.
