Alpha Fabricator- Automated 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars
Summary/Objective:
May work on various pieces of equipment, setting up and operating. Support the production team by assembling parts and operating one or more pieces of machinery. Follow all safety procedures as outlined on the Safety Placards. Operate roll forming line. Be able to handle raw material with overhead crane and load roll forming machine with raw material. Be able to determine condition of tools and verify coolant levels in the equipment. Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities and report productivity to the Manager. Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given tasks. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Assemble items as instructed. Prepare product for shipment to 1111 Airport Rd. Lift raw materials, final products and items packed using a manual or electric pallet jack, crown lift or forklift. Assist or machine operators in area.ROBOT WELDER
Operate manual and/or robotic welding equipment. Safely apply welds per specifications to produce completed product. Produce assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures. Measure dimensions of work pieces to ensure conformance. Perform quality checks and reports any issues to Manager. Modify computer-controlled robot movements. Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality. Set-up and troubleshoot robotic systems.ROD BENDER
Position, align, and secure workpieces. Lubricate workpieces. Load workpieces into machines. Adjust to specified lengths. Turn controls to set cutting speeds, feed rates, or table angles for specified operations. Turn valves to start flow of coolant against cutting areas or to start airflow that blows cuttings away. Place workpieces on tables or crates. Be able to load and unload spool with an overhead crane. Thread ends of metal coils from reels through slitters and secure ends on recoilers Competencies Experience in welding Be well-organized and able to consistently meet deadlines. Be able to work in a fast paced environment that requires strong attention to detail. Ability to work individually and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Be able to work in diverse duties and responsibilities in relation to the products manufactured. Be able to be proactive and flexible in order to effectively carry out customer's ship dates. Have required efficiency knowledge on procedures and processes. Have the ability to adhere to instructions. Display a customer-oriented approach and a creative positive outlook on all projects. Ability to work with a variety of hand tools, including grinders, drills, etc. Work Environment Atmosphere heated and cooled to production temperature. Cement floor with anti-fatigue mats provided for comfort. Clean working environment. Will work around moving mechanical parts. Not temperature controlled in hot months, so will need to be able to work in heated conditions. Will be required to wear Personal Protect Equipment at times. Physical Demands Required to reach level 4 physical capacity test post hire. Occasional walking, sitting, reach across midline, feeling, squatting, stooping, kneeling. Occasional fine manipulation -Occasional carrying 50 - 80 lbs., pushing pulling 20-100 lbs. Frequent change of position, reaching, handling Frequent arm/hand, leg/foot control, firm grasping Constant standing Position Type/Expected Hours of Work. This is a full time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours may vary depending on department and shift. Additional hours may be required to meet customer deadlines.
