Etcher

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Etcher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precisely etching designs, patterns, and markings onto various materials using advanced machinery and techniques. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and accuracy of engraved components, supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence. The successful applicant will bring strong mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency, and a dedication to precision in a fast-paced factory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and review work instructions and accurately enter data into paperwork and/or ERP systems Verify printed sheets for accuracy and completeness Monitor etching machine modules during processing to ensure proper operation Measure material thickness using micrometers Inspect and measure critical dimensions of parts against blueprints and specifications Perform changing of etching solutions, as well as cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required Previous manufacturing experience strongly required Experience operating CNC machines, Bridgeport mills, or drill presses preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficiency using standard measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Requires sufficient mobility and physical reflexes to perform job duties Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
