Blaine, MN Job Summary We are seeking a Flat Knifing Operator to join a growing production team in Blaine, MN. This position involves operating an automated rule bending machine and performing hand finish bending using pneumatic and hand tools. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with both technology and manual tools. This is a skilled trade to be learned—not just an assembly position—with opportunities to grow and develop long-term. Key Responsibilities Operate an automated rule bending machine to form components. Perform hand finish bending using pneumatic and hand tools. Insert rule into die boards by pounding with a rawhide mallet. Read and follow work instructions accurately. Ensure parts are produced to specification with high accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE. Requirements Computer literacy required to operate bending machines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and pneumatic tools. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Dependable with a strong work ethic and team mindset. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs (average 35 lbs). Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift. Manual dexterity to work with hand tools and equipment.
