1st Shift Assembly- Plastics

POSITION SUMMARY

The Trim and Finish position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated. The Trim and Finish position transforms raw materials and purchased parts into completed products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs Standard Work and any Supervisor/Lead requests Follows all Safety Procedures Performs finishing operations on parts to produce a finished product. Identifies and reports any scrapped product. Packages and skids finished product.

ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

Ability to read and write. Basic computer skills Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
