Job Description
Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position has strong computer knowledge and must be proficient in, or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn, FlexiSign, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. He or she must be willing to learn various other software programs necessary to complete job requirements and must have excellent communication and customer service skills. In addition, he or she must be able to pass basic math and spelling tests administered during the hiring process and must have the physical stamina to climb a ladder while lifting signs, reach and/or lift items from shelves (including upper shelves), and lift heavy items. Must be able to lift 50-100lbs unassisted from a standing position (equivalent to a 100lb arm curl or bench press). High school diploma or GED required Valid, current NC Drivers License required Valid governmentally issued proof of United States Citizenship required Pass initial drug test and all regularly required drug testing Strong computer skills Basic math and spelling skills Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Fluency and literacy in written and verbal American Standard English Strong customer service skills and abilities Able to manage workload and prioritize multiple projects Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail Outstanding phone skills Prompt, reliable, and responsible Able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves Must be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy objects.. Must be able to lift 50-100lbs unassisted from a standing position (equivalent to a 50-100lb arm curl or bench press). Responsibilities Report to each assigned shift on time on a daily basis, in the required company uniform/shirt. Interact with our customers, coworkers, and the public in a courteous and professional manner at all times Complete manufacture and production of all types of signs Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to various substrates Properly and efficiently use an X-Acto knife and ruler Properly load and use a hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions Load rolls of materials into and operate vinyl cutters/plotters Load rigid sheets of wood, plastic, and/or metal onto CNC router/cutter tables Operate CNC routers/engravers/cutters Load materials into Laser cutters/engravers Operate Laser cutters/engravers Operate a vertical panel saw, table saw, or other power tools using standard safety procedures Maintain machinery in good working condition Greet customers and answer phones in an articulate, professional and knowledgeable manner Accurately complete any and all forms and paperwork Help operate and manage the store when needed Travel to different locations within the community to preview work areas and install various types of signs Apply vehicle, window, wall, and floor graphics Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies Maintain an organized, clean, and professional store appearance at all times Complete Demand Printgraphics in store training using product training videos, sign production techniques, verbal and written instructions and various manuals and training guides.
