Job Description

The New York team is expanding and actively hiring for Jewelry Verification Services. We are looking to add 9 new team members, including 3 Transport positions and 6 Associate roles.
Pay:
$22.00 an hour
Location:
New York GIA Campus Minimum Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a fast-paced, production-driven, or structured environment is preferred. Key Skills & Experience Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Experience working in detail-oriented environments that require consistency and precision. Core Competencies Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when reviewing documentation and handling small, high-value items. Ability to consistently meet daily production goals without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Basic computer skills, including experience with scanning systems and internal tracking tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting. Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Strong sense of accountability and dedication to continuous improvement. Manual dexterity and comfort performing repetitive, hands-on tasks. Additional Requirements Position is fully onsite due to the nature of the work. Ability to follow a production schedule and consistently meet daily performance expectations. Must be comfortable standing for extended periods during scheduled shifts. Work Environment & Physical Demands Work takes place in a high-security, production-focused environment with limited workspace. Role involves repetitive tasks primarily performed while standing for long periods. Frequent use of computers and gemological tools is required. Strong hand-eye coordination is essential for precise handling of jewelry items. Frequent grasping, pinching, and fine motor movements are required throughout the workday. Requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). •There are currently two open roles available.
