Forge Helper I

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Forge Helper in Rochester, NY. As a Forge Helper, you will: Assist with setup and operation of hydraulic forging equipment Monitor and adjust CNC programs, furnaces, and forging processes Measure parts using calipers, scales, and gauges Inspect forged parts for quality and defects Read work orders, travelers, and basic blueprints Transport materials using forklifts and manipulators Perform daily maintenance and workstation upkeep Follow all safety and quality procedures Collaborate across shifts to meet production targets This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity. Monday - Friday 5:00pm to 5:00am The ideal candidate will have the following experience: High school diploma or GED required Must be available for 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and overtime Basic math skills and ability to read measurements Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly Pay rate: $18.00 + $1.00 shift differential per hour •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
