Laser Operator

Description:

Under general supervision of Plant Manager, set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce sheet metal parts according to customer specifications.

Requirements:

Operate and maintain laser cutting equipment Program and adjust laser cutting parameters Read and interpret blueprints Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Maintain high quality in line with customer specifications Follow all company safety and operations policies

Preferred Qualifications:

Laser cutting or operation experience CNC programming experience Motivation to learn and develop with WLS Experience in a manufacturing environment

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation/Benefits:

Compensation is based on experience; medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, etc. 1st shift (6am-2:30pm, M-F) $18-$20/hr
