Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manual Screen Printer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed designs on various substrates using manual screen printing techniques. Your expertise will help bring vibrant visual concepts to life, ensuring each print meets our standards of excellence. Duties Set up and prepare manual screen printing stations, including selecting screens, inks, and substrates for each project Mix and match ink colors accurately to achieve desired hues, applying color theory principles for optimal results Prepare screens by coating with emulsion, exposing, and developing images according to specifications Operate manual presses with precision to produce consistent prints on apparel, signage, or promotional items Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to ensure clarity, color accuracy, and alignment Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning screens and equipment after each use Collaborate with design teams to understand artwork requirements and troubleshoot technical issues during production Qualifications Prior experience in manual screen printing or related printmaking techniques is highly preferred Strong understanding of print processes, including emulsion coating, exposure, registration, and ink mixing Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign for preparing artwork files Knowledge of color theory and visual design principles to ensure vibrant and accurate prints Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow detailed instructions precisely Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to develop your skills in a vibrant print production environment!
