IS AER FED
division is currently seeking a Operator C - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA! This is a part-time position that will work daylight hours between 7 am - 3:30 pm for a max of 20 hours per week. The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: The Operator C supports manufacturing and engineering departments by manufacturing various production and prototype components. They assist shop management in training shop personnel in common machine shop practices and company specific processes and procedures. In this function, you will: Set-up and operate simple machine tools such as drill presses, manual presses, saws, shears, etc. Read basic blueprints, inspect parts using precision measuring tools equipped with vernier and DRO scales. Such tools include optical comparators, micrometers, indicators, etc. Perform hand operations such as de-burring, filing, grinding, sanding etc. Operate polisher, grinder, or deburring tools and remove metal and surface defects or contour edges of components based on specifications of blueprints or work instructions. Inspect work for acceptablility of finish. Use excellent attention to detail Assemble parts per Manufacturing Instructions.
