Finishing Specialist Job Description Join our team as a Finishing Specialist on the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm. You will play a vital role in removing gating and excess material from sand castings, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Responsibilities Remove gating and excess material from sand casting using a belt sander. Extract cores from castings. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Essential Skills Experience in the manufacturing process and industry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Mechanical aptitude with good hand and eye dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Machine shop experience is a plus. Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and adhere to safety policies. Standing during assigned shifts is required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a foundry type environment that is dirty and loud. You will need to wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses on the floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Oxford, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
