POSITION SUMMARY

The Swaging Technician is responsible for performing metal forming operations that support the production of temperature sensors. This role involves operating rotary swaging machines, preparing materials, and ensuring all components meet quality and performance specifications. The technician works with work orders, measurement tools, and testing equipment to support accurate and efficient manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and follow work orders, specifications, and production instructions
• Prepare raw materials and operate rotary swaging machines
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Perform basic dimensional and electrical testing to verify product quality
• Maintain tools, dies, and equipment to ensure proper operation
• Support other departments as needed to meet production demands
• Maintain a clean

SKILLS NEEDED

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to read rulers and work comfortably in imperial measurements (inches, feet)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Physically capable of lifting up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 20 lbs occasionally

Hours:

Standard operating hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with voluntary overtime frequently available.

Pay Range:

$16-$20 based on technician skills and experience.
