Title:
Finishing Tech I - Night Shift - SC Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a Finishing Tech I for our Pendleton, SC manufacturing location on Night Shift (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6 am). Main Objective:
To clean, finish and debur products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures to ensure superior quality is provided to our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consistently follows operating procedures Consistently meeting the productivity and quality goals set Able to perform different tasks / operation necessary to properly manufacture the product. Able to determine the materials and tools required to perform the operation. Properly encodes production activity and output in manufacturing software. Consistently keys in accurate time in SAP to reflect true time spent on jobs.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or
Training:
Full working knowledge of mechanical equipment. Good eye/hand dexterity. Ability to be detail oriented. Ability to Debur, tumble, sandblast, polish and finish metals Machine, Tools, and/or
Equipment Skills:
Manual dexterity.
Physical Demands:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Vision Requirements:
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
