Sandblasting Manufacturing Full Job Description Glass Bead Operator Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Glass Bead Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating glass bead blasting equipment to clean, finish, and prepare metal components for painting, coating, or final assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be committed to producing high-quality work while maintaining safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate glass bead blasting equipment to clean and finish metal parts and assemblies. Inspect materials before and after processing to ensure quality standards are met. Prepare parts for blasting by masking, loading, and positioning components as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow production schedules and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Use measuring tools and visual inspections to verify finished product quality. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with other production and fabrication tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, sandblasting, or glass bead blasting experience preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documents. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Benefits Competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour. Full-time, stable Monday-Friday schedule.
