Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Grinder to join their team. As a Grinder, you will be part of the production department supporting the machining and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:

Days (03:00-13:30) What's the Job? Operate grinding equipment to remove cosmetic defects from casting prior to product machining Visually inspect casting for defects before grinding Produce a finish on the casting that removes all cosmetic defects Report casting defects to supervisors for correction Maintain machinery, patterns, hand tools, and other equipment in good condition What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED, or relevant work experience Ability to lift parts weighing over 50 pounds with assistance if needed Ability to work in bending, standing, or squatting positions for extended periods Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Willingness to participate in training and continuing education What's in it for me?
