As a SPD Equipment Technician (or Wafer Fabrication Technician), you'll help create advanced optical components powering global connectivity in internet data centers, broadband networks, and telecommunications.
Responsibilities:
Process semiconductor wafers in a Class 10,000 cleanroom Operate precision tools, inspect products, and ensure top quality Log production data per
ISO 9001
standards Collaborate with teams to optimize processes and meet production goals Maintain equipment and follow safety and cleanroom protocols
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or GED; an associate degree is a plus.
Experience:
1+ year in manufacturing or cleanroom environments; semiconductor experience preferred. Skilled in using microscopes, hand tools & tweezers for small devices Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures Familiarity with
ISO 9001
standards and process documentation is a plus Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for delicate work
