Mailer 2 XBP Global - 2.0 Renton, WA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Laser Printer Operator About the Role The Laser Printer Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser printing equipment to produce accurate, high-quality printed materials. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The operator will also handle basic troubleshooting and ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Essential Job Responsibilities Operate and maintain laser printers, ensuring consistent high-quality output. Load and unload paper stock, identify appropriate stock types, and clear paper jams efficiently. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laser equipment, including cleaning sensors, replacing toner cartridges, and other consumables. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. Program and execute print jobs using computer systems and job control software, including: Setting up standard and custom jobs. Manipulating images and creating merge files. Executing network-generated job files and monitoring queues. Operate multiple printers simultaneously to meet production demands. Maintain accurate documentation and logs for completed work. Adhere to company safety and attendance policies. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in operating computers and job control systems, including DOS-based software. Familiarity with measurement tools such as rulers and gauges. Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions. Effective communication skills. Capacity to work independently or collaboratively on both routine and complex tasks. Willingness to accept supervision and contribute to team goals. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capability to lift up to 75 pounds. Manual dexterity and normal (or correctable) color vision.
