Primary Function:
The successful candidate must be capable of learning all equipment in the Thermoset Division. The successful candidate must learn to be proficient in using statistics to analyze all types of process variables and process problems, participate in projects with Engineering, Management, and co-workers. The successful candidate must be committed to broadening his knowledge through outside educational involvement.Job Duties:
Assist in the maintenance of all equipment in the Thermoset Division. Perform SPC analysis on finished product, equipment, and processes to improve quality and productivity. Maintain equipment safety features. Instruct and familiarize other employees with the setup and overall operation of equipment and tools. Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions. Initiate corrective action by maintaining ongoing contact with Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, CS², and others to bring about high quality, timely change. Remain current with state-of-the-art technology by utilizing the technical development program, seminars, courses, trade publications, and other appropriate sources of technical data. The successful candidate must be a proven innovator and possess a working technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical circuits, mechanical principles, and statistical process control to advance to Grade II.Tools and Equipment:
