Job Description

Job Overview Come join Perfection Industrial Finishing. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our team on the second shift. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal and other surfaces through abrasive blasting to ensure optimal finish quality for manufacturing and fabrication projects. Your energetic approach and commitment to precision will help us maintain high standards of surface preparation, supporting our production goals. Responsibilities Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare surfaces according to project specifications. Set up and adjust blast media flow, pressure, and nozzle configurations for different materials and finishes. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to inspect surfaces for quality control. Handle materials with care using forklifts, cranes, or other warehouse equipment to move components safely within the work area. Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of used media and debris, adhering to safety protocols. Assist with fabrication tasks such as welding, auto body repair, or assembly as needed to support production processes. Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste throughout the blasting process. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial painting, or construction painting is highly desirable. Familiarity with machining, fabrication, or auto painting techniques will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, airless paint spraying, or auto body repair is a plus. Knowledge of crane operation, forklift handling, and materials management enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role. Basic math skills are necessary for measuring and setting up equipment accurately. Warehouse experience involving the use of precision measuring instruments and materials handling equipment is beneficial. Understanding of lean manufacturing practices helps streamline operations and improve productivity. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
