Responsibilities Operate high pressure blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, and contaminants from metal components Clean and prepare metal parts to meet strict Rain Bird surface finish requirements Set up and maintain blast booths, cabinets, and automated blasting systems Inspect finished surfaces to ensure proper preparation for coating adhesion Follow all OSHA safety standards, including the proper use of respirators and protective equipment Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on nozzles, hoses, compressors, and blasting equipment #

Qualifications 6 months to 2 years of experience in industrial sandblasting or metal finishing Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods High school diploma or GED equivalent
