Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for a 2 nd Shift Operator-Electropolishing in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 3:30PM-11:30
PM Pay:
$19/hour (+12% Differential)
Position Overview:
The right candidate will be forming, cleaning, and polishing metal components for medical devices using both manual techniques and equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working with chemicals, following detailed instructions, and completing documentation accurately.
Responsibilities:
Form parts using up to 10 lbs. of force Read and follow detailed work instructions and routers Complete documentation and identification labels accurately Set up and adjust equipment according to specifications Handle and work safely with chemicals during electropolishing processes Clean and polish metal medical device components through electropolishing Inspect work using microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gages Maintain a clean and organized work environment (good housekeeping) Follow safety procedures and support departmental quality goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience using microscopes and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gages) Strong ability to understand and apply measurements Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic computer skills (daily data entry required) Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, face shield as needed); steel-toed boots required (all other PPE provided)
