Our company manufactures precision components for leading aerospace and industrial customers. Join our team! Position Overview Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Entry Level Polishing Operator is responsible for removing surface imperfections from primarily aluminum components using both machine and hand-finishing methods. This role supports production by ensuring parts meet required cosmetic and dimensional standards. The position requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Perform polishing, deburring, and surface finishing operations on aluminum and other metal components Utilize hand tools, polishing wheels, and other equipment to remove marks, scratches, and defects Follow work instructions, blueprints, and process sheets to meet part specifications Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment Handle parts carefully to prevent damage during processing Support production flow and meet daily output requirements Perform other related duties as assigned in the manufacturing environment

Experience and Skills:

Ability to use basic hand tools and shop equipment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic understanding of manufacturing or metal finishing processes (preferred but not required) Willingness to learn and be trained on polishing techniques and equipment Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable with good attendance and work ethic

Physical Demands:

Standing, holding parts, and rotating them for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25lbs. Environment conditions and physical surroundings include exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and typical shop conditions. Proper PPE is required.

Experience/Education Minimum Requirements:

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
