Job Description
Sizemore Welding, Inc. Sizemore Welding is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our Grinding Room team. This position plays a critical role in preparing fabricated metal components for finishing and shipment. Responsibilities Grind, sand, and finish welded parts and assemblies Remove weld spatter, sharp edges, and surface imperfections Operate hand grinders, sanders, and other shop tools safely Inspect parts for quality and ensure they meet specifications Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and policies Assist other departments as workload requires Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout an 8+ hour shift Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Experience using grinders and hand tools preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and punctuality are required Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team setting.
