Products from General Tool cut and grind a variety of surfaces, including brick, mortar, concrete, granite, engineered stone, tile and glass. The location of this position is at our warehouse location in Covington, Georgia. Job Overview The successful candidate will play a key role in the Modification department by assisting with the painting and finishing of saw blades and core bits . This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow established painting procedures and techniques. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are prepared, painted, and completed according to job specifications and company standards. Responsibilities & Duties Candidate must be safety conscious and willing to follow implemented safety policy Candidate must report to work on time Candidate will be paired with a trainer The candidate must possess willingness to learn, follow instructions from trainer, quality oriented, and team player Candidate will be trained on how to follow standard operating procedure, how to read job orders, painting techniques, and hazardous material, and waste disposal Good attitude, and flexible to do different jobs when work is running low Requirements & Skills Previous experience in painting is preferred. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Physical & Mental Requirements Individual:

Frequently lift 30lbs Stand for extended periods of time Repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing Erratic temperature control (Hot during summer, cold during winter) Workshop environment is subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. Must wear steel toe boots, safety vest, and other safety equipment, as required, when working in the facility and/or operating machinery.
