Challenge Job Summary:
The Finisher supports a variety of manufacturing processes to meet customer and company needs. Primary responsibilities may include, but not limited to, work in Etching, Rolling, Sanding, Special Products, Material Preparation, and Shipping. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Functions:
Review job travelers and use blueprints to verify customer specifications. Inspect materials to ensure they meet job requirements and quality standards. Operate equipment and perform tasks in assigned production areas (Etching, Rolling, Sanding, etc.). Support additional departments such as Special Products, Material Prep, and Shipping as needed. Follow standard work processes, maintain a safe work environment, and adhere to company policies. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong teamwork mindset and alignment with company Core Values. Dependable and punctual with consistent, reliable attendance. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow instructions, procedures, and technical documentation. High attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer and technology skills for completing work orders.
Work Environment:
Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required. Hands-on role requiring standing, manual dexterity, and occasional lifting of materials or fixturing. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repetitively. Strong emphasis on quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This position may involve exposure to, but is not limited to, the following materials: acrylic, polycarbonate, FR-4 epoxy glass, GPO (I, III, III) polyester glass, HDPE (high-density polyethylene), glass epoxy, G9 melamine laminate, copper, brass, and aluminum
Schedule:
1st Shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Compensation and Benefits:
