POSITION SUMMARY

Candidate for this position will be responsible for finishing custom made millwork/cabinetry. The applicant should have a minimum of 3+ years experience in wood finishing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of various finishing techniques and products. Knowledge of touch up techniques on various materials and finishes. Knowledge of spraying/finishing room equipment. Experience in custom color mixing. Experience in brush, spray or hand applied finishes (primer, paint, stain, oil, lacquers, sealers, toners and other) Experience in specialty finishing techniques is a plus (liquid metal, crackle, brunt finish, cement finish)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing color matching samples. Spray and brush painting (high gloss, metallic, glazed finish, brushed). Working with custom stains (toning/shading, glazing, cerusing, wire brushing, bleaching, high gloss polyester). Touch ups. Compensation based on experience.
