Powder Coater

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Powder Coater to join their team in Hunt Valley, MD . This role is a great fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment. The Painter will assist with preparing, masking, handling, finishing, and packaging parts to support the powder coating process. Candidates should be safety-conscious, quality-focused, and able to follow instructions carefully throughout each step of the workday.

The Day-to-Day:

Hang masked parts on finishing racks in preparation for the powder coating process Set up, assemble, and mask finished parts according to job requirements Transport parts from masking areas to the paint line and finishing stations Apply high-temperature tape with precision to designated parts Use tools to ensure all parts are properly masked and ready for finishing services Communicate with co-workers and team leaders to receive instructions and coordinate daily activities Remove finished parts from the line after completion Wrap and box completed parts to prepare them for shipping Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping, removing debris, and emptying trash Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout the shift

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Strong attention to detail Quality-oriented and conscientious approach to work Ability to follow company safety policies at all times Sound decision-making skills in a production setting Reliable with an excellent attendance record Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Willingness to complete advanced training through in-house and/or external training methods as needed

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour

Schedule:
