The Role:
This role supports the creation of custom orthotic and prosthetic devices by preparing materials, assisting with fabrication, maintaining equipment and inventory, and ensuring high-quality production within the fabrication lab. This role works closely with orthotists and prosthetists to deliver precise, well-crafted products that improve patients' lives.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail for precise patient-related assessments Excellent communication skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities What You'll Be Doing Prep custom products for fabrication under the guidance of an orthotist or prosthetist Fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices with supervision Requisition supplies for the O&P department based on demand Maintain inventory levels, including mins/maxes and cycle counts Perform weekly inspections and upkeep of fabrication machinery Keep accurate documentation and fabrication records Attend trainings, seminars, and in-house sessions to expand skills Clean, organize, and maintain the fabrication area daily Meet assigned productivity standards Travel to other locations when requested (home office may vary based on staffing needs) Complete additional duties as assigned Perks & Benefits Competitive pay Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance Paid time off + floating holiday 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Training and growth opportunities
