You will utilize your technical expertise to interpret complex blueprints and operate advanced machinery to achieve precise tolerances that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Analyze engineering blueprints and technical layouts to determine the most efficient grinding sequences and operational setups. Configure and operate various grinding and polishing equipment to achieve exact surface finishes on metal parts. Perform critical measurements using precision instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify that all components adhere to strict dimensional specifications. Select and install appropriate grinding wheels and abrasive media, ensuring optimal performance and safety during the finishing process. Proactively monitor machine performance, making real-time adjustments to maintain consistency and prevent production errors. Execute complex deburring and finishing tasks to enhance the functionality and aesthetic quality of manufactured workpieces. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial grinding or precision machining. Proven proficiency in manual machining techniques and surface finishing. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges. Preferred Skills Prior experience working within an AS9100 quality management environment. Technical proficiency with OD/ID and cylindrical grinding machinery. Completed vocational training in machine tool technology or related metalworking fields.
