Key responsibilities and duties:
- Grind and polish welded stainless steel parts and sheets to match factory brush finish. Qualified candidates will have experience with:
- All forms of hand tools
- Power tools including, die grinder, angle disc sander, high and low speed air tools, polishing lathe, stroke sander, and spot sand blaster.
- 2+ years of experience grinding and polishing stainless steel to match factory brush finish.
- Hammer and dolly to shape and stretch material
- Ability to hammer and polish seam welded sheets to a flat, factory appearance.
- Shop safety
- Ability to develop respectful working relationships with other teammates.
- Reliable transportation, exceptional punctuality and attendance, and a positive attitude.
Physical requirements:
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to bend, twist, stand, stoop, and reach overhead.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently, 80 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to grip, squeeze, and twist wrist to operate various hand tools without issue.
- Ability to be on your feet for entire shift.
Compensation:
Sherman products has been a family owned business for over 75 years. We fabricate some of the highest quality kitchen equipment, and seek to fill this position with an individual that is talented, self-motivated, and shares our goal of superior quality and commitment to the customers that we serve. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 6:00 am
- 2:30 pm, with occasional overtime.
Pay:
$16.00- $25.
